You can access Paoli Family Medicine at any time and from anywhere using the internet. Provide us with a secure email address and we will send you an email with a link and instructions on how to sign up for the Paoli Family Medicine Patient Portal.
The patient portal is NOT for emergencies. In case you are experiencing symptoms or difficulties that require medical attention, we want you to receive the right care, at the right time, and in the right place. Call us first at your primary care physician’s office, we’re here to help. We know your health story and have access to your medical records, so we can help direct you to the most appropriate care. We treat many common issues at a fraction of the cost of the emergency room. We often have same-day appointments available. However, if it is a true medical emergency call 911.
Use the messaging system to send your doctor a note or ask a question of staff.
Receive appointment reminders and confirmation notifications. We offer annual wellness and same-day sick appointments. (At this time you cannot schedule or cancel an appointment through the Patient Portal. For this, a telephone call to the office is still required).
View your medical history. Medical History includes your Problem List, Allergies, Immunization Record, Lab Results, and Medication List.
Request refills from your doctor of authorized medications before you run out. Please allow three (3) business days for us to respond. Improved compliance means improved health outcomes.
View the results of labs with doctor’s comments once your healthcare provider has reviewed them. The doctors comments on your labs will be viewable at the bottom of your lab report.

Patient Portal Set-Up Instructions
To set-up your Patient Portal account with Paoli Family Medicine, you will need to provide the office with your email address in order to be web enabled. Once you have been web enabled, you will receive an email from email@example.com (This may get filed into your spam folder). Once received open the email.
You will see three things:
1. Login URL
2. User ID/Name
In most cases this will be your email address. If your email address is shared with another patient in our practice who is also web enabled, your user name may instead be a combination of your first and last name and your birth year (ex. JohnSmith1970)
Your temporary password will be a CASE SENSITIVE combination of letters and numbers. Make sure to type in the password exactly as it has been provided.
- Click on the Login URL link. With the username and temporary password you received, you should be able to make initial access to the portal. Once you logged in successfully, you will be prompted to:
- Change your password. Make sure to use both uppercase and lowercase letters as well as numbers for maximum security.
- Set up a security question. This is an extra security measure to ensure your privacy.
- We recommend that you bookmark the Patient Portal Page.
The Patient Portal enables our patients to communicate with our practice easily, safely and securely over the Internet. By using the Patient Portal, you can avoid having to contact us by phone for non-urgent questions, concerns, clarifications and updates. Please give the doctors and staff 1-2 business days to respond to your portal messages. If prompt attention is needed, please contact us by phone.
