COVID-19 Vaccination Information
Main Line Health is now offering vaccine registrations to anyone 16 and older who wishes to be vaccinated. You do not need a Main Line Health MyChart account to be eligible to register. You can register for a vaccine appointment on their website here: COVID-19 | Main Line Health
Please keep in mind: Registering for a vaccine is not the same as scheduling a vaccine. By submitting a registration form, you are adding your name to their list of interested vaccine recipients. You will receive a message to the email you provided during registration when vaccine supply is available. Main Line Health currently offers the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

Effective 1/19/2021, Pennsylvania residents who are 65 or older and those who have high-risk conditions are now eligible to receive the coronavirus vaccine!! The state has expanded those eligible for vaccination in phase 1A to include anyone over 65 and people ages 16 to 64 with serious medical conditions that make them more at risk for severe illness due to COVID-19. Those high-risk conditions include cancer, chronic kidney disease, COPD, Down syndrome, heart conditions, sickle cell disease and Type 2 diabetes mellitus. Those who are immunocompromised, obese or pregnant are now eligible, as well as smokers. You can see the full list here.
To determine when you are eligible for a vaccine, you can use this tool on the state’s website.
If you are eligible to receive the vaccine, the state has an interactive map to assist you with finding a vaccine provider near you. You will then schedule an appointment with the provider. The information above has been provided by Patch local news source, 1/19/2021.
As anticipation for impending distribution of COVID-19 vaccination emerges, we are getting many calls regarding vaccine distribution. Please be aware that at this point we have no information regarding our own practice access to COVID-19 vaccines to distribute to our patients. Vaccine distribution at present is being rolled out to many large health systems, with priority for highest risk hospital healthcare workers and first responders.
Please see the following website for further information regarding the COVID-19 vaccination plan for PA:
Please be aware that this information will be continually evolving/developing as the pandemic continues. We ask that you please refrain from calling our office to ask questions regarding vaccine distribution, as it places volume overload on our telephone system and limits ability of other patient calls that require urgent attention.
We will continue to keep you apprised of the COVID-19 vaccine situation as updated details emerge. Thank you for your understanding and patience during these very unprecedented times.
